Square Enix’s figure of Riesz from Seiken Densetsu 3: Trials of Mana captures exactly what makes the character so memorable: a regal fantasy design, a beautifully feminine silhouette, and a strong heroic presence that still leaves plenty of room for visual appeal. With her long blonde hair, elegant blue-and-white outfit, and confident stance, this release feels very faithful to Riesz’s image while also embracing the more glamorous side of her character design.

What stands out most in the photos is the balance between fantasy detail and body line. The armor-like accessories, flowing hair, and costume trim keep the figure rooted in the game’s world, while the sculpt also puts clear emphasis on her bust, slim waist, long legs, and shapely hips. It feels like a figure that understands both the character and why fans have loved her design for so long.

Packaging & Unboxing

Back of the box – preview photos give a good idea of the full silhouette, hair flow, and costume details from multiple angles.
Riesz figure inside blister packaging
Inside the blister – the figure appears neatly packed, with the larger hair and costume parts well protected.

The packaging presentation feels appropriate for a fantasy heroine like Riesz. It does not look overly flashy, but it gives a strong character-focused impression and keeps attention on the figure itself. The inner packaging also seems practical, which is especially important for a sculpt with long hair and fine ornamental details.

Overall Front View

Full front view of the Riesz figure
Full front view – a graceful and confident pose that immediately shows off the figure’s heroic fantasy appeal.
Front angled view of the Riesz figure
Front angle – this view gives a good sense of the costume’s layered design and the elegant proportions of the sculpt.

From the front, Riesz looks exactly as she should: noble, composed, and visually striking. The outfit has that classic fantasy-warrior style, but it is still very revealing, which gives the figure a strong mix of dignity and sex appeal. Her bust is clearly emphasized, the waist is drawn in tightly, and the long legs keep the whole silhouette looking elegant.

Face, Hair & Upper Body

Face close-up – the sculpt captures Riesz’s refined beauty well, with a calm and dignified expression.
Upper-body close-up of the Riesz figure
Upper-body close-up – the chest armor and costume framing draw a lot of attention to the bust without overwhelming the elegant look.
Close-up of the Riesz figure face hair and costume details
Another close-up – a nice look at the facial print, blonde hair sculpt, and the decorative details around the upper costume.

The face is one of the strongest parts of the figure. Rather than going for an exaggerated smile or dramatic battle expression, the sculpt gives Riesz a composed and noble look that fits her character perfectly. Her long blonde hair also adds a lot to the presentation, helping the figure feel more graceful and more premium. The upper body is clearly designed to accentuate her bust, but it still stays within that classic fantasy-heroine aesthetic rather than becoming too crude.

Torso, Waist & Costume Design

Torso detail – the exposed midriff and tight waist create a very attractive transition between the upper costume and lower body.
Close-up of the Riesz figure waist and hips
Waist and hip close-up – the sculpt makes her waist look especially slim, which helps the hips stand out more strongly.

Riesz’s outfit is one of the reasons she has always stood out as a design, and the figure does a good job of translating that into 3D. The exposed midriff gives the body line a lot of impact, and the contrast between her fuller bust and narrow waist makes the whole figure look very feminine. The costume still reads as fantasy gear, but it is undeniably built to show off her body as much as possible.

Side Views & Leg Line

Side view – the silhouette is very clean here, especially the line from bust to waist to hips.
Side angle of the Riesz figure showing body line
Side angle – this view emphasizes how elegant the sculpt is, with long legs and a very balanced stance.
Lower-body side close-up of the Riesz figure
Lower-body close-up – the figure gives her hips and thighs a soft, attractive fullness without losing the refined fantasy look.

The side views are some of the best angles for this figure. They show off the body line very clearly, especially the impressive bust, tight waist, and long legs. Riesz does not feel overly thick or exaggerated; instead, the sculpt aims for a graceful, mature kind of sexiness, which suits the character much better.

Rear View & Back Details

Rear full-body view – the long hair and back of the costume give the figure a very elegant finish from behind.
Rear three-quarter view of the Riesz figure
Rear three-quarter angle – a nice angle for appreciating both the hair flow and the shape of the hips.
Back close-up of the Riesz figure
Back close-up – the rear costume design and lower back area give the figure a more sensual side without breaking the fantasy tone.

The back of the figure is handled very nicely. The hair gives the sculpt volume and movement, while the rear of the costume keeps the overall design attractive from behind. There is also enough emphasis on the hips and lower back that the rear angle remains a genuine highlight, rather than just something you glance at once.

Hips, Lower Body & Final Detail Shots

Lower-body detail – a closer look at the hip line and how the costume frames the figure’s curves.
Close-up of the Riesz figure from a lower angle
Lower angle – this view gives the figure a stronger heroic feel while also making the legs and hips look especially good.

Final display angle of the Riesz figure
Final display angle – a nice finishing shot that sums up the figure’s elegance, body line, and fantasy charm.

The final detail shots reinforce what the rest of the photos already suggest: this is a very character-driven sculpt with a lot of visual appeal. The lower body, especially the hips and legs, has just enough fullness to make the figure sexy, but the overall presentation stays elegant and tasteful.

Verdict

Square Enix’s Riesz is an appealing figure because it understands what fans want from the character:

  • A beautiful and noble facial expression
  • Long flowing blonde hair and an elegant fantasy silhouette
  • A clearly emphasized bust and slim waist
  • Attractive hips and long legs that give the figure a strong feminine shape
  • A costume that stays faithful to the game while still delivering plenty of visual appeal

If you are a fan of Trials of Mana or of fantasy heroines with a classic, glamorous design, this Riesz figure is easy to appreciate. It is faithful, elegant, and just sexy enough to stand out without losing the character’s heroic identity.
